Initial Loading/Accession Process

Initial Accession/ Initial Data load process

The following process describes the initial accession of records into SCSB.

Step 1: HTC to get the barcodes and customer codes list from the IMS Team(ex. RECAP or HD)

Step 2: HTC Pass on this list to the institution

Step 3:  Institution will prepare the bib records and files with bib, holding and item information in the SCSBXML format

Step 4:  HTC will place the files at appropriate location

Step 5: SCSB Initial load process will load the records
