Gateway Request Log
All the requests from the partners either they are entered via SCSB UI or initialed from partner’s discovery service are coming to SCSB gateway service. From gateway service the requests are re-directed to Circulation Service for the request processing.
SCSB developed a Gateway Request log process to log all the requests received by the gateway into a table. If the requests are re-directed to circulation service and are processed by circulation service, SCSB gateway service mark these requests with “success” status.
When circulation service is down or not able to receive requests from gateway service due to network or any other reasons, these requests are marked as “failed” status.
These failed requests can be re-submitted for request processing when the circulation service is available by the users with repository role.
